Let me introduce myself, I’m Edward Tillotson and I have been competing since 1988. I got second place my first time out in a state wide ice carving competition held in Tampa. I have also competed in many national events, teams and singles events. Plus, I was in the single block 1999 event in in Alaska where I used a 7000 lb. perfectly clear block. Fallen Angles # 25 4th place with my design. My ice sculpture was featured on the Ice Alaska website. I have also helped move our industry into the mechanical era by being the first to use oversized end mills in hand die grinders. I was featured in the September 1997 NICA On Ice newsletter. I currently use CNC machines which allow us to do things in an easy production that would have struggled to do in the past.
Our Ice Sculpture Company has been in the Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Palm Beach area for over 20 years. In that time we’ve been involved in 2 Super Bowls, Don Shaula’s retirement party, 75 blocks ice sculpture, Art Basile week, The White Ball, Air & Sea Show and countless other events adding Kooooool to all events.
